2. Network Configuration: Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, to ensure optimal performance and security.
3. Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
4. Security: Implement security best practices and protocols to protect the network from unauthorized access, attacks, and vulnerabilities.
5. Network Optimization: Optimize network performance, bandwidth utilization, and latency to ensure efficient data transmission and communication.
6. Network Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
8. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to implement and manage network services and solutions.
9. Staying Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
• Experience with network devices and technologies, such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and conveying technical concepts.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or similar certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualized environments is a plus.
