Sales Engineer (IT)/Developer
- Technical Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of our IT products, solutions, and services to effectively communicate their features and benefits to clients.
- Client Needs Analysis: Collaborate with the sales team to gather client requirements, understanding their technology pain points and business goals.
- Solution Presentations: Create and deliver compelling technical presentations that showcase our IT solutions and demonstrate their relevance to clients’ needs.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct live demonstrations of our products, highlighting key features and demonstrating their impact on solving client challenges.
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients, aligning our solutions with their unique requirements.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Assist in the design and execution of technical PoCs to validate the effectiveness of our solutions for specific client scenarios.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to address technical inquiries, provide pre-sales support, and ensure smooth deal closures.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, enabling you to position our solutions effectively.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer role or a technical sales capacity within the IT industry.
- Solid technical background with a strong grasp of IT solutions, systems architecture, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to understand client pain points, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate value propositions.
- Proficiency in conducting solution demonstrations and providing technical consultations.
- Familiarity with responding to technical inquiries, supporting sales teams, and facilitating successful deal closures.
- Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to address client requirements effectively.
- Adaptability to work collaboratively within sales teams and engage with clients.
- Knowledge of sales processes and methodologies, with exposure to consultative sales practices.
