Help Desk Specialist Developer
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, offering solutions and guidance.
- Remote Assistance: Provide remote support to end-users, guiding them through technical issues and resolutions.
- Ticket Management: Maintain accurate records of support requests, updates, and resolutions using help desk software.
- User Training: Educate end-users on technology tools, software applications, and best practices.
- Hardware and Software Setup: Assist with the installation, configuration, and setup of hardware and software components.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and departments to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Staying Updated: Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Help Desk Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
