Information Security Analyst Developer
- Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor security alerts and logs from various sources to identify potential security incidents. Analyze and investigate security breaches, anomalies, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems, networks, and applications. Identify weaknesses and recommend remediation measures.
- Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, including containment, mitigation, and recovery strategies. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely and effective incident resolution.
- Security Policies and Compliance: Assist in developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Security Awareness Training: Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees to educate them about security best practices and promote a security-conscious culture.
- Security Controls Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls, configurations, and encryption methods to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Security Documentation: Maintain documentation of security processes, procedures, and incident response plans. Develop and update security-related documentation as needed.
- Security Audits and Assessments: Assist in internal and external security audits and assessments. Address audit findings and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.
- Security Technology Management: Manage and maintain security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and encryption tools.
- Emerging Threat Research: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies. Propose proactive measures to defend against emerging threats.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security roles, with a focus on threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
- Proficiency in security monitoring tools, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and SIEM solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and encryption methods.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS) and penetration testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Knowledge of security compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and data privacy principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effectively conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
